• Former Certified Public Accountant with Coopers & Lybrand serving in both tax and audit practice groups. 

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting from Florida State University and a J.D. from The University of Florida College of Law, Gainesville, Florida.

• An attorney since 1984, with extensive experience in counseling and representing private, governmental, industrial and utility clients regarding water resources, state and federal permits for large-scale development involving impacts on water resources, wetlands, endangered and threatened species, water quality, coastal construction and use of sovereign lands.

• Shareholder and former Managing Shareholder of Lewis, Longman & Walker, P.A.

• Former Division Director of Field Operations for the Florida Board of Trustees of the Internal Improvement Trust Fund.

• Former Deputy Director, Division of Environmental Permitting, the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.

• Former Chief of Staff to Florida Congressman Bill Nelson.

• Undergraduate degree in Geography from Florida State University and a J.D. with honors from Florida State University College of Law, Tallahassee, Florida.
